2021:
“Little B’s Broadway” Theatre not only entertains, it also provides a sense of belonging. Join Little B and friends as they celebrate theatre, explore how they’ve coped with missing live shows and reflect on being part of such a special community.
Little B’s Broadway is an original musical created by writer/composer/performer Becca Yuré (voice of Little B), directed by Sharon Halley, musically directed by Phil Hall, with puppet design by B.J. Guyer, artwork by Sian Bowman, and features Debra Walton, Christopher deProphetis, Sierra Rein, Linda Moshier, James Patterson, and Weston Chandler Long. ASL Interpretation by Candace Davider, Kimberly Seward, and Lisa Dennett.
“During the pandemic, our audiences who attend autism friendly performances of Broadway shows have come to love the character of Little B through Becca’s virtual shows,” said Lisa Carling, TDF’s Director of Accessibility Programs. “As we look to returning to live theatre in 2022, this show is a wonderful way to help prepare this audience for what will surely be an emotional ‘coming home’.”

On Sunday, March 21, 2021 at 1 p.m. (EDT), you’re invited to our next Little B Zoom event. While the show was created specifically for TDF‘s Autism Friendly Performances community, everyone is welcome!
Join Little B and friends as they explore some of the challenges we’re navigating during the pandemic, like missing friends, remote learning and immense feelings. Little B aims to ease these experiences through interactive songs, art and her biggest idea yet, so viewers can discover ways not just to survive, but thrive!
This event is free and suitable for all ages—we encourage the whole family to participate. Advance registration is required.
2020:
“Santa and Little B: Zoom for the Holidays” is an accessible, original holiday musical.
The Theatre Development Fund is inviting its Autism Friendly Performance families to join this next autism-friendly event at 1:00pm (EST) Sunday December 13, 2020 or Sunday December 20, 2020 to celebrate the holiday season!
To explore the holidays this year and the spirit of the season, Little B wonders if the holidays will still happen given the pandemic. She reaches out to Santa the way any child would in 2020 – through zoom. Little B asks Santa a few questions about what the holiday season will be like and shares some of her wishes.
Audience members may send in questions and their wishes to Santa in advance or ask him in the chat window during the zoom. The event ends with an accessible singalong with captioning which will include a few Broadway holiday favorites! With original music and dialogue by writer/performer Becca Yuré and featuring professional Santa Claus, Ricky Dain Jones.
This event is suitable for all ages and those celebrating diverse holidays.

2015:
“Little B’s Big Holiday Wish” is an original sensory-friendly holiday musical. A special performance of this production took place on Saturday, December 19th, 2015 at the McGinn Cazale Theatre, 2162 Broadway NYC, NY 10024. Proceeds from this production benefitted Theatre Development Fund’s Autism Theatre Initiative. According to Becca Yuré, the creator, “Our intention is welcoming families to an inclusive, supported, sensory-friendly musical theatre experience as part of their holiday celebration this year.” The production was directed and choreographed by Sharon Halley and musically directed by Phil Hall. The show stars Becca Yuré, Francesca MacAaron, Michael McKenzie, and Mandy Brown.
Becca Yuré, the creator of this show, is a singer / songwriter / actor / dancer and works with children with diverse needs. She supports children individually providing behavior analytic services as well as in Buddy Club, her social skills groups. In addition, Becca consults with Theatre Development Fund’s Autism Theatre Initiative as their Lead Autism Specialist to enable children with special needs and their families to attend Broadway shows. Becca has sung on The Tonight Show as well as performed at Lincoln Center, The Hollywood Bowl, Los Angeles Music Center, LaJolla Playhouse, and has toured in theatre productions across the U.S. She has performed original music at venues throughout NYC.
